Data Center AC Improvements
Description
When The Hub (CRA 2302) meeting space was created in 2017 the Data Center AC Unit #1 was found to make it difficult for all participants to hear as the background noise was distracting. The load for the Data Center was found to be low enough to not require both units to run continuously. Project improves the environmental functionality of the meeting space, provides accommodation for those with hearing difficulties, prolongs the service life of the AC units, and saves electricity.

Status Update
05/09/2019: Data Center AC Improvements - Project completed
05/09/2018: AC Units scheduled and operational. Unit #1 will scheduled off during business hours. Units will switch duty cycles overnight with Unit 2 shut down. If the temperature in the room exceeds limits both units will operate.
02/01/2018: Project started to configure the Data Center to have only one AC unit running at a time.
