Housing Door Lock Application - Onity upgrade
Description
Quad/University Village Apartments (UVA) door lock database. Need to move off current hardware and move the system to the campus data center. IITS will work closely with the vendor and the department to retire old hardware and combine databases to improve customer service at the UVA and Quad. After the upgrade has been completed students will be able to get new keys and general support from either office, Quad or UVA.

Status Update
10/15/2018: This is a long term project with work to be done Summer 2019. The vendor has advised CSUSM on changes to the application servers and database that requires a manual reset of locks scheduled for summer.
08/15/2018: Production workstation deployed to UVA
08/08/2018: Production workstation deployed to Quad
08/06/2018: move to new hardware and server farm Quad Thick Client -> Quad App Server -> SQL Farm Quad Database UVA Thick Client -> UVA App Server -> SQL Farm UVA Database
