DescriptionFaculty Professional Development is available as a series of workshops centered around Cougar Courses and various technologies called Tech Bites. The technologies and strategies on teaching are sessions 60-90 minutes in length.

IITS-Academic Technology Services – Instructional Development Services.
07/07/2019: Offered 8 days of professional development in June.
04/01/2019: Faculty Development continues for the Spring 2019 semester.
01/22/2019: New training website was created to list the options for faculty - includes Using Cougar Courses, Tech Bites Lunch and Learn series, Ally instructor guides, and external workshops.
12/04/2018: Statistics as of November 2018 - Number of faculty who have participated in Tech Bites is 23.
10/22/2018: The spring semester Tech Bites sessions have been posted. Planning 7 workshops on many great topics to enhance online instruction.
09/11/2018: 8 Tech Bites workshops are planned for Fall 2018. Designed for Faculty who want to try different technologies for teaching.
08/20/2018: Prepared 19 Cougar Courses workshops for Fall 2018. Faculty learn how to use Cougar Courses effectively and efficiently.
