DescriptionImplement the IITS Strategic Communications. This documented communications strategy and implementation coincides with the IT Strategic Plan in exploring new ways to better inform the campus community about technology changes, issues, and improvements.

07/01/2019: Project completed.
06/14/2019: The Student Technology Guide booklets were printed and available at the new student orientations or the student help desk starting 6/15.
04/02/2019: Updated Technology Spotlights: Spring 2019 Campus App virtual ID, Wireless and Mangrum, Campus App usage, website filtered search, IITS carts, Technology Refresh Program
01/28/2019: Added minor adjustments to the service catalog content to further trim and consolidate duplicate information for ATS (GIS, zoom) and TSS ( email distribution lists, TRP).
01/18/2019: Updated Technology Spotlights: Fall 2018 1) New Kellogg Video Wall 2) Technology Learning Center (TLC) Kellogg 2000 Open Lab - A popular study spot for students, MFA project, Adobe, Mac Refresh
12/19/2018: Continued updates to the Portfolio Management Content have been done to keep the public content current. Working with leads and managers monthly to assist as needed in updates to the content.
12/17/2018: Updated Technology Spotlights: Summer 2018 1) Campus App Connecting Students to CSUSM 2) TLC Kellogg 2000 Open Lab 3)Help Desk & Remodeled TRC
12/14/2018: Created a blog of IITS success stories called Technology Spotlights on the IITS website homepage and added the archive/historical page for previous announcements.
12/14/2018: Launched the redesigned IITS website - Internal review 12/5 and campus launch 12/13.
12/13/2018: Launched the IT Service Catalog (along with the IITS website) 12/13
09/14/2018: IITS Strategic Communications strategy submitted for review. Document contains tasks for both internal and external campus communications. Waiting for review/approval to move forward.
