McMahan House Upgrades
DescriptionThe McMahon House is a highly visible campus asset that is widely used by CSUSM and local community groups. The equipment in the building is a regular cause for concern, as events and meetings are too often negatively impacted by equipment failure, functional limitations, or lack of capacity to perform desired tasks by users of the facility. A long planned upgrade was budgeted in FY 18/19. After consulting all primary facility stakeholders, IITS and our AV vendors are prepared to proceed with the replacement of the projection, audio, and computer equipment during the 2020 Spring Break. The total project includes vendor deployment, equipment purchases, and campus facilities work. Informational: the new projector will be an NEC PA803UL (8,000 lumens laser projector).
